Expression of Interest – Tabang Coal Upgrading Plant (TCUP)

One of our project, located in Tabang, East Kalimantan is required the staff positions to enable the operation of the facility to operate 24 hours per day, 7 days per week for 7,000 operating hours per annum. The process plant upgrades low rank sub-bituminous through a drying and agglomerating million tones per annum. The TCUP facility also has a small coal fired power station to supply energy to the TCUP.

ENGINEERING/MAINTENANCE SUPERINTENDENT (Job No. 531096)
Reporting to Site Manager, You will providing safety leadership to the Engineering & Maintenance team; Ensuring the Production plant and power plant maintenance activities both in the field workshop are completed safety, according to the agreed maintenance procedures and with minimal impact on plant availability; Implementation and management of preventative maintenance schedules; Implementing and managing of off-site maintenance programs; ensuring risk assessments and safe work procedures are carried out for maintenance activities; Planning and executing plant shutdowns in co-operation with the Operations Superintendent; Liaising and obtaining approval from the client engineering manager for any proposed changes to the plant or process design; Ensure all budgets, schedules, manpower schedules, spares inventory are reported to the Site Manager on a monthly basic including any proposed capital expenditure budgets.

To fill this position, You must have minimum of 15 years experience managing maintenance within mining/mineral processing industry; Mechanical engineering degree or Diploma or recognizes trade certification in Mechanical Fitting; Strong continuous improvement and change management capabilities; Sound understanding of maintenance management principles; Proven track record in implementing and managing industry best practices for OH&S; Previous experience in the preparation of maintenance budgets and cost reporting; Excellent communication (written and oral skills in both English and Indonesian.
