Senior Adult Education Officer CARITAS

Caritas Switzerland is a non governmental organization (NGO) with sound experience in the field of post disaster reconstruction. For its Aceh Reconstruction Program in Singkil, Caritas Switzerland is seeking a qualified and highly motivated person of Indonesia Nationality for the following position:

Senior Adult Education Officer

Required Qualifications:

  • Completed studios (Graduate/Bachelor/Master) in Education, Social Science or in other related fields
  • At least 3 years work experience with NGOs in live hoods, specifically in organizing educational and vocational programmes
  • Experience In developing and organizing education/training concepts
  • Skills in Monitoring, Evaluation and Administration
  • Diplomacy, fact and negotiation skills
  • Able to work independently and in a team, being flexible and able to finalize tasks in a given time frame
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge in spoken and written English, able to write reports in English
  • IT skills; ability to use Microsoft Office such as word/ excel processing and electronic mail
  • Disposition and Ability to live and work in remote area

Job duration: dependent on the program (approx. 1-1.1/2 years)
Location of work: Singkil, Aceh Singkil, NAD

    My brother in law name Andaru is a medical doctor, he recently retired as a civilian worker in the army (TNI). He is a good worker and alwyas intend to help the poor. He is now working at the atmajaya university hosptal as health consultant. I think he will do his best in Singkil Aceh, because for neraly 1 year he was in Nias when he was in the army.
