PROSPEROUS INDONESIA THROUGH ECONOMIC GROWTH
The United States of America acting through the Millennium Challenge Corporation (“MCC”) and the Government of the Republic of Indonesia (the “Government”) have entered into a US$600,000,000 Compact for Millennium Challenge Account assistance to help facilitate poverty reduction through economic growth in Indonesia. The Government of Indonesia, acting through the Millennium Challenge Account Indonesia (“MCA-Indonesia”) intends to apply a portion of MCC funding to eligible payments under a contract for which this Call for Qualifications and Fee is issued. We are looking for competence, capable, highly qualified and highly motivated person for this assignment:
Participatory Land Use Planning Consultant (GP-A-001)
The Individual Consultant will focus on land tenure, land law and land administration as supporting elements to effective management of land resources and sustainable renewable energy investments in Indonesia and specifically the four starter districts of the Green Prosperity Project; Muaro Jambi and Merangin in the Province of Jambi and Mamasa and Mamuju in the Province of West Sulawesi, and other districts that will be defined. The focus of this work is technical, developmental and operational.
The duration of the assignment is approximately 12 months (extensions are possible), full-time, 40 hours per week, in Jakarta, Indonesia. Frequent field travel (up to 60% of time) within the provinces of Jambi and West Sulawesi and other provinces and districts to be determined. Travel to Washington DC may also be required.
