Port Engineer and Planner

The following qualifications, skills and experience are required:

• Graduate in Civil Engineering and/or post graduate qualification in Port Management;
• The individual sought will have been involved in the planning and development of ports and terminals in many parts of Indonesia. Although business development and commercial knowledge will be an important element of the individuals focus. It will have to be supported by a strong technical background and experience in the port planning and the economics of ports and terminals;
• Previous work with major international contractors or consultants and possibly periods of time working on contract outside of Indonesia would be an advantage. The position will be based in Jakarta but involve substantial travel within Indonesia. The ability to liaise with a wide range of International contacts will be critical to the success of the role.
