U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) based in Jakarta is recruiting Indonesian Nationals for the position of PROJECT DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST (Rule of Law) for Office of Democratic and Decentralized Governance, (Post Code: DDG). Salary starts from RI).14,517,227 per month depending on qualifications, experience and salary history.

Basic Function of the Position: This Specialist serves as one of the resident Mission experts and advisors on democracy and governance issues, including rule of law, anti-corruption, elections, legislative strengthening, and civil society. S/he will manage current and planned democratic governance programs by providing technical direction and advice, will provide support in directing DDG investments and strategies related to the design of new DDG activities.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: Masters Degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as law, international relations, political science, international development, and/or public administration.
  2. Professional Experience: Eight years of progressively responsible experience in designing, planning, and managing programs focused on democracy and governance, including rule of law and justice sector reform. Work experience in court would be a most valued additional asset. S/he must also possess demonstrated knowledge of Indonesian legal education and civil society. Knowledge of and familiarity with USAID rules and regulations is highly desirable.
