The U.S. Mission to ASEAN in Jakarta has vacancy for the Ambassador’s Residence Manager. S/he is responsible of household staff, event planning and management and coordination with U.S. Mission and Embassy staff. The position will be directly responsive to the demands of the Ambassador. University level education with vocational training in office/hotel administration of hospitality is desirable but not required; secondary education is mandatory. Candidates must understand and read English level 4 and be fluent in Bahasa Indonesia. The candidate will be required to posses a basic knowledge of bookkeeping and human resources practices, an excellent grasp of regional and American protocol, good interpersonal and supervisory skills and must be flexible and able to manage a household and staff within a changing schedule and environment.
