SENIOR MINE SURVEYOR
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
To provide survey control for the mining, construction and exploration activities. Maintain the mine survey control coordinate system. Weekly pit face and dump face location surveys. Daily set out of ore control blocks. Provides control for the blasthole pegging. Stakes out control for ore control drilling. Provide control and engineering set out for construction activities. Training in all facets of mine, construction and exploration surveying activities. Supervise surveyors and surveyor assistant.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Undergraduate degree.
- 10 years experience in mine surveying position.
- Over 5 years utilizing HPGPS technologies.
- Competent user of the Surpac surveying software.
- Good communication skills both written and oral.
