ZARATEX N.V. is part of a rapidly expanding international Oil & Gas company. Together with our other associated companies, we operate three oil and gas Production Sharing Contracts (PSCs) and have interests in two others in Indonesia.

Due to our expanding operations in Lhokseumawe, Aceh, we are immediately seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to fill the position of:

COMPANY REPRESENTATIVE
(Lhokseumawe Based)

Reporting to External Relations & Government Affairs Manager, this position acts as official Zaratex N.V. representative in all dealings with local community, government officials, BPMigas, Police, Army, Navy, NGO’s and other stakeholders.

Key Job Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain good relations with local community, government officials, BPMigas, Police, Army, Navy, NGO’s and other stakeholders in order to ensure smooth operations of field activities and successful completion of Company’s onshore and offshore seismic and drilling operations. Provide support to External Relations & Government Affairs Manager for local socialization and community relations activities and compensation payments for the Lhokseumawe geochemical and seismic surveys (on/offshore) and exploration drilling programme.
  • Seek resolution of all local stakeholder issues associated with Company’s onshore and offshore seismic and drilling operations
  • Produce good timely reporting systems for the management, local government, community and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Male, age 30-50
  • Diploma or bachelor degree in social sciences or technical subjects 6 to 10 years of experience
  • Trustworthy, good personality with strong leadership skills Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to speak and write good English
  • Ability to communicate in local language will be an advantage
  • Lives in Lhokseumawe or willing to be based in Lhokseumawe, Aceh
