We are seeking for best candidate to fill the vacant position of:

1. CIVIL INSPECTOR (SPC1)

JOB FUNCTION
Ensure that Civil construction works (earth work, piling, concrete foundation works, building works, road works etc.) are completed according to project quality requirements.

RESPONSIBILITY AND DUTIES

  • Implement the project quality guidelines and ensure that the Contractor s quality plan activities are aligned with project quality objectives
  • Oversee and supervise the Contractor s quality system implementation
  • Identify all deficiencies and proactively set in motion the required corrective actions
  • Oversee inspection of civil construction activities conducted at Contractor s / Subcontractor s facilities and in the field
  • Coordinate and interface with other disciplines are required
  • (i.e. Civil foundation works)
  • Inspect the civil earth works, grading, leveling and piling activities including witnessing the compression test
  • Coordinate with Contractor in identifying the source for concrete mix ingredients and monitor the quality of row materials through the project cycle
  • Witness or monitor the concrete foundation casting and its associate works, starting from rebar form works through to concrete pouring and curing
  • Witness the laboratory test for concrete, and advise the team for corrective actions if quality issue are noted. Monitor the implementation of the same
  • Witness civil survey works for leveling and coordinate checking
  • Inspect the installation of civil structural items and the dimensional control checks (i.e. pipe rack works)
  • Monitor and inspect road works construction inside the field facility and along the pipe line right of way
  • Inspect fly over or over pass road works (and monitor the associated the traffic management and HSE)
  • Inspect the civil building words and the connected architectural / interior decoration works
  • Review Contractor s field inspection and test reports
  • Verify Contractor / Subcontractor quality management system plants procedure and processes are in place
  • Issue NCR reports where quality deficiencies are noted, follow up with corrective action for close out (to avoid recurrence of the same deficiency) and maintain the related records

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum fifteen (15) years experience in inspection of civil QA/QC activities out of which at least 5 years in client position
  • Process leadership qualities with a good analytical mind to manage the team of contractor QC personnel
  • A self starter with proactive approach in foreseeing problems and setting in motion the corrective actions
  • S1 graduate or equivalent with a good communication capability in Bahasa Indonesia and English
  • Knowledge on international standards like ASCI, AWWA, etc., and material testing methods
  • Experienced in witnessing the test at the laboratories
  • Process experience to conduct regular spot checks / spot audits on the ongoing civil activities at the site and implement corrective actions as required
  • Experienced in witnessing the fabrication and installation of civil steel structures
  • Experience in inspection of civil road construction works, culverts, fly over / over pass
  • Experienced in civil building inspection works, inclusive of associated architectural / interior decoration works

2. BUILDING CONSTRUCTION – AREA SUPERINTENDENT (SPC2)

JOB FUNCTION
Manage Company site teams in accordance with project objectives, Interfaces with working groups at the site

RESPONSIBILITY AND DUTIES

  • Reports to construction lead and will assist him in executing his responsibilities and act in his behalf during his absence
  • Monitor contract SHE program on site to ensure compliance to Expansion Project Procedures. Address goals set by the project in these areas. Reports statistics in a timely manner
  • Represents PTF for all construction activities and is the project field contact with the contractor s construction site organization
  • Monitor contractor s constructions activities and provide advice as necessary to ensure they meet job specification within budget and schedule and that they comply with operating unit safety rules and procedures
  • Monitor contractor s subcontractor administration, field purchasing, materials handling procedures, warehousing activities and ensure proper expediting of subcontractors and materials as necessary to meet project s construction requirements
  • Participate in review of subcontract and ensure that adequate control and changes in work procedures are established
  • Approve construction field change and extra work request as delegated by Project Manager
  • Supervise and manage direct report project personnel
  • Coordinate with rest of task force to use established control system to monitor and expedite progress in the field
  • Represent PTF to the operation unit on matters related to construction activities
  • Coordinate mechanical acceptance and start-up activities between operating unit and contractor
  • Assist PMT in meeting RGEE expectations as required, especially RGEE element 2 (Risk Assessment), RGEE Element 3 (Facility Design & Construction), RGEE Element 9 (Incident Investigation) and RGEE Element 10 (Community Awareness)

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering
  • Good written and verbal communication to communicate at all levels from senior management to field labor
  • Good technical supervisory skills
  • Minimum fifteen (15) years board experience in all project phases, i.e. engineering, procurement and construction, would have at least ten (10) years specific involvement in major process facilities
  • Minimum five (5) years as a Construction Manager
  • Minimum five (5) years Middle East experience
  • Worldwide experience with contractors and vendors, in particular those involved in the construction of onshore facilities

3. SHE & SAFETY SITE (SPC3)

JOB FUNCTION

  • Work with company and contractor s site management and Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) organizations to implement the project and site safety programs
  • Advise site team (company, contractor and local authorities safety requirements, regulation, expectations, and best practices)
  • Coach and advise contractor and subcontractor to establish, communicate and implement safety expectations and initiatives; monitor and stimulate execution with contractor s safety policy, rules, and procedures and monitor conformance with project and site safety execution plans and implement improvements where appropriate
  • Collect and analyze data on safety initiatives and performance for reporting to project and functional management
  • Encourage proactive reporting and manage the stewardship and improvement of proactive safety programs

RESPONSIBILITY AND DUTIES

  • Promote safety awareness and safe performance among project team members, including consultants and contractor personnel
  • Conduct regular safety inspection/assessments on-site and at key off-site subcontractor locations in accordance with established project and site safety plans or as requested by site team members
  • Identify and work to eliminate hazards, unsafe condition and unsafe acts; work with company, contractor and subcontractor management towards achieving an injury-free work place
  • Keep site management apprised of significant safety issues, safety and plans/progress towards resolving issues and eliminating hazards
  • Advise site team of safety initiative, issues, challenges and incident investigations/follow-up
  • Communicate safety initiatives, achievement, experience and issue from other site and project with site team members and contractor/subcontractor safety advisors/management
  • Participate in investigation and follow-up of incidents/accidents; prepare notification/reports for communication of significant incidents to company project/functional management per project incident reporting procedures and matrix
  • Coach and advise contractor/subcontractor safety professionals/management in incident investigation documentation, reporting and follow-up, including root cause analysis and case management
  • Monitor work process to ensure compliance with the site work permit system and area/system responsibilities
  • Prepare / provide a safety induction briefing to new team members and EM visitors to site
  • Collect and share safety lessons learned with other site project and functional management

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • College level education or equivalent
  • 5-7 years in construction safety-related position
  • Good computer skills including lotus notes, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint

4. SITE CONSTRUCTION LEAD (SPC4)

JOB FUNCTION

  • Serve as a member of the Construction Team
  • Interface primarily with project team Technical Manager and Project Manager and other functional planning coordinators, i.e. planning coordinators from technical and project Planning And Services Organizations
  • Participate / support / lead as requested, discrete task to improve construction system and tools
  • Advise the Contractor throughout the construction process

RESPONSIBILITY AND DUTIES

  • Implement the Construction Execution program and seek alignment with the onshore site manager and Construction Lead
  • Coordinate construction input to the planning effort and act as the key interface point for coordinating the flow of construction deliverables
  • Communicate and work with construction managers to resolve construction constraints
  • Ensure timely communication with construction manager on status and issue resolution at predetermined communication points in the construction process
  • Act as construction cost and schedule budget estimate coordinator for assigned projects; develop and steward budget for functional support of cost to project
  • Assist construction manager with annual project staffing forecast
  • Capture lesson-learned into construction s lessons-learned database
  • Ensure designated site manager endorses contractor deliverables

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • BS/MS in Engineering
  • Good coordinating and interface capabilities
  • 10+ years industry experience
  • 5+ years project experience

5. SHE & SECURITY SITE (SPC5)

JOB FUNCTION

6. MECHANICAL / PIPING INSPECTOR (SPC6)

JOB FUNCTION
Ensure that required Mechanical and piping inspection methods are performed in accordance with approved Inspection and Testing Plans. Monitor all required mechanical tests and pipe welding and installation requirements by contractor. Maintain daily log of activities

RESPONSIBILITY AND DUTIES

  • Oversee inspection of piping and welding activities conducted at contractor and sub-contractors facilities
  • Coordinate with other mechanical and piping inspectors
  • Review original material certificates for compliance to codes and specifications
  • Ensure testing, measuring, welding and NDE equipment is fully calibrated and has current certification
  • Ensure storage and use of welding consumables is per manufacture recommendations and full certification
  • Review contractor s field inspection and test reports
  • Verify fabrication fit-up, alignment and dimensional tolerances
  • Review welder qualification certifications and attend welder qualification
  • Verify Contractor, Subcontractor Quality Management System, plans, procedures and processes are in place
  • Implement Banyu Urip Project Construction Surveillance Program

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Working knowledge of
    • Piping and pressure vessel codes and standards
    • (E.g. AWS D1.1, CSA B51, ASME Section III, ASME B31.3, and ISO 9001)
    • Piping fabrication methods
    • Welding processes and NDE techniques including evaluation methods
    • Piping Isometrics and shop Drawings
    • Mechanical installation practices
  • Through understanding of applicable industry specifications
  • Good oral and written English language skill
  • Well versed in safe work practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft office suites of software program, lotus, notes, etc.
  • Read, write and speak fluent in English, especially as it applies to technical communications
  • Minimum fifteen (15) years experience in inspection of piping system on major onshore construction projects

7. CIVIL / STRUCTURAL INSPECTOR (SPC7)

JOB FUNCTION
Assure that required inspection methods are performed properly, including DFT, Holiday testing, etc. Monitor mixing & application of coatings by contractor. Maintain daily log or activities

8. CONSTRUCTION LEAD (SPC8)

JOB FUNCTION

  • Serve as a member of the Construction Management Team
  • Interface primarily with project team Technical Manager and Project Manager and other functional planning coordinators, i.e. planning coordinators from Technical and Project Planning and Services Organizations
  • Participate / support / lead as requested, discrete task to improve construction system and tools

RESPONSIBILITY AND DUTIES

  • Establish a Planning Program and seek alignment of the planning scope with the Construction Planning Manager and subsequently with the Construction Manager
  • Ensure construction management is executed in accordance with all approved plans and Owner s Operation Integrity management requirement
  • Ensure effective and safe utilization of all construction resources including heavy civil construction equipment
  • Ensure appropriate civil quality management
  • Facilitates appropriate schedule management and control to achieve planned milestones
  • Ensure timely communication with Construction Planning Manager, Construction Manager and Vice President/Construction leadership team on planning status and issue resolution at predetermined communication points in the planning process
  • Act as construction cost and schedule budget estimate coordinator for assigned projects; develop and steward budget for functional support of cost to project
  • Perform Site Manager roles if Site Manager is unavailable
  • Ensure designated Site Manager endorses contractor deliverables
  • Facilitates effective project completion activities and processes in accordance with corporate requirements

9. FIELD CIVIL – STRUCTURAL ENGINEER (SPC9)

JOB FUNCTION

  • The Civil/Structural Engineering Specialist is responsible for:
  • Facilitating communication of various project execution issue within the PT engineering team that affect the civil/structural engineering design
  • Gaining alignment with the PT on Civil/Structural Engineering needs, objectives and requirements

Evaluate / comments on civil/structural work performed by the contractor and sub-contractors to ensure that the work is being executed in accordance with project specifications. Facilitates effective executions of civil/structural engineering and design routines that align with the project s, goals, objectives and procedures. Assures accurate and timely communication among the PT and EMDC Function civil/structural engineering activities, progress and issues. Provides technical support and mentoring to the national civil/structural engineer.

RESPONSIBILITY AND DUTIES

  • Support the lead Engineer by coordinating/communicating various issues among the Owner s engineering team that affect the civil/structural engineering design, safety and regulatory compliance of the work
  • Facilitate and coordinate civil/structural engineering technical work product
  • Evaluate / comment work performed by the contractor and sub-contractor to insure that the work is being executed in accordance with project specifications
  • Identify and assess deviations to contract technical specifications and regulatory requirements; ensure that such deviations will be processed according to project procedures; maintain deviation control log
  • Steward civil/structural engineering quires from the contractor and sub-contractor as well as technical information requests
  • Keep lead engineer informed of civil/structural engineering progress, deviations and execution concerns
  • Participate in civil engineering reviews at contractors and subcontractors location
  • In collaboration with the lead engineer, gain alignment with the PT on project engineering needs, objectives and requirement
  • Participate in kick-of meeting with the EPC contractor and PT to ensure common understanding of engineering requirements, including deliverables
  • Conduct project team member briefing sessions with respect to civil/structural engineering requirements and process
  • Coordinate owner and PT civil/structural engineering portions of design review to minimize disruption of the contractors work
  • Participate actively in the projects change management program
  • Steward the process of capturing and communicate civil/structural engineering and design lessons learned for the project
  • Assist the lead engineer in stewarding the EPC contractors activities with respect to civil/structural engineering execution including :
    • Ensure that all affected parties are familiar with engineering execution plans, procedures, objective and overall job requirements
    • Ensure that the contractor staffs the project with adequate numbers of qualified personnel
    • Ensure that the contractor employs the appropriate design tools, including computer hardware and software
    • Ensure that the contractor adheres to all specifications and standards
    • Ensure that the contractor provides all contract documents, including those referred to in the job spec
    • Reinforce the requirement for the contractor to control the work i.e. accurate and timely progress measurement and reporting

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Broad and extensive knowledge of
    • Design standards, specifications, codes and appropriate safety criteria
    • Offshore facilities and structure design, construction and operation
    • Engineering administration
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in an engineering
  • 15 years of closely related professional experience, 3+ years of which should be at the project engineering / engineering management level
  • Strong organizational, management and technical judgment skills
  • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads and frequent changes in priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs, lotus Notes, etc.
  • Read, write and speak fluent English, especially as it applies to technical and business communication
