We are currently searching for GroundProbe’s next Software Tester. The main role of this position is to design and execute test cases for GroundProbe’s industry leading software supporting the development team enabling commercialization of product.
This position will support Supervisor – Product & Quality and will be working in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan, Indonesia.
What you will be doing
- Define and write test procedures, test cases and test plans
- Execute and record tests for all assigned projects/features
- Analyse and report test activities and results
- Raise defects found during test and escalating in accordance with set procedures
- Tracking progress of allocated test designs and test cases to ensure testing deadlines are met
- Working with customers to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve technical issues, taking ownership until a solution is reached
- Provide input into the development of new features and product enhancements to ensure we deliver market-leading product
What you bring
- Having University Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Civil Engineering or related technical discipline
- A minimum 4+ years’ experience in a similar role, preferably leading a team of Testers
- Broad understanding of software engineering concepts and latest technologies
- ISTQB certification (preferable)
- Manual Testing experience on desktop and hardware platforms
- Testing Windows application experience
- Outstanding time-management skills
- Ability to communicate in English is essential
- Strong problem identification and solving skills, by comparing data from different sources to draw conclusions
