PT. Agincourt Resources is a subsidiary of G-Resources.

G-Resources is a Hong Kong listed gold mining and exploration company. It has acquired the world-class Martabe gold-silver project in northern Sumatera, Indonesia. Already in development, Martabe is expected to commence production of gold in 2011. The mine will be capable of producing at a rate of 250,000oz gold and 3M oz silver per annum.

Martabe with a resource base of 6.5Moz gold and 66Moz silver will form the core starter asset around which a globally competitive, Asia-Pacific focused gold company will be built. G-Resources seek to rapidly grow production to more than one million ounces of gold annually through exploration of the large and highly prospective Martabe property and through acquisition of other quality gold assets.

PT. Agincourt Resources is pleased to invite applications for the following roles:

Community Relations Superintendent (CR 0210)

This position will be based in Martabe with FIFO schedule 4/2 weeks and reports directly to the Deputy Community Relation Manager. Roles of this position are to:

  • Design and develop a constructive and sustainable community relations program to ensure that relations with the communities and the mine are harmonious and based upon mutual understanding and respect in sustainable manner.
  • Support government relations function of the Company in obtaining social and legal license to operate.
  • Build, maintain and enhance good relationship with all groups of NGOs, locally and nationally working at Batangtoru, Padang Sidimpuan and Medan.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor degree (preferably Master degree) in relevant social science with a minimum of 6-8 years working experience on corporate social responsibility and stakeholders relationship within mining multinational company.
  • Supervisory experience in community relations involving multiple nationalities and diverse cultural issues within a mining project environment.
  • Excellent knowledge on Governmental Organizations of different categories, type and sizes.
  • Experienced in facilitating social development assessment and planning.
  • Experienced in social project/program designing and presentation.
  • Reasonable level of problem solving, able to motivate and lead the team.

Hydro Geologist Mining (MD 0203)

This position will be based in Martabe with FIFO schedule 4/2 weeks, and reports directly to the Superintendent Mine Technical Services.

The role will involve the development of mine, infrastructure and safety reason in concern with other mining engineering staff. This position caries on through the project development and operation to facilitate the effective operations of mining through reliable system of Hydrology management.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in Hydrogeology or Geology.
  • Post tertiary studies in a related field & POP Certificate.
  • Computer Hydrogeology/ geotechnical skills will be preferred.
  • Proven experience in the plan, monitor, supervise Geotech/Hydrology of drilling activities, equipment monitoring such as dewatering, horizontal drilling, VWP, TDR, Inclinometer, open hole, etc.
  • Knowledge and Experience of groundwater/surface water modeling software.
  • Experience in Hydrology Mapping and Analysis.
  • Experience on Environmental/geotechnical aspects related with hydrology issues.
  • Ability to make a mine hydrology report and Competence in speaking, reading and writing English.
  • Minimum of 7 years working experience within hydrogeology aspect of active operating mines and Experience in a metalliferous mining operation environmental will be preferred.

Health & Education Supervisor (CR 0205)

This position will be based in Martabe project and reports directly to the Community Support & Services Sr. Supervisor.

Role of this position is to assist the Community Support & Services Senior Supervisor in identifying, developing, implementing and monitoring community support and services programs, particularly health and education programs which will enable local community to sustain their livelihood during the mining and beyond the mining operation.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Diploma-III in Social, Community Health, Technique Industry, or relevant Degree, Bachelor Degree preferably from Social and Community Health science.
  • Good understanding in community services program.
  • Good understanding in health, education and other social programs.
  • Good understanding in human relation and communication skills.
  • Good understanding in leadership and influential team building skills.
  • Good understanding in presentation and communications skills.
  • Good command of English & writing skill.
  • Adequate analytical skill and problem solving.
  • Knowledge of social development assessment and planning using methods such as Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), Community Self Assessment (CSA).
  • Familiar with health, education, social project/program designing and presentation.
  • Familiar with socio-economic and quantitative survey techniques using methods such individual interviews using questionnaires, focus group discussion, and in-depth interviews.
  • Good monitoring, evaluation skill and able to lead a team.

Mine Surveyor (MD 0209)

This position will be based in Martabe with FIFO schedule 4/2 weeks and reports directly to the Senior Surveyor. Roles of this position are to involve in the setup, development and management of the Survey Crews.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor Degree in Geodetic Engineering.
  • Minimal experience 7 years of practical mining survey.
  • Experienced with survey equipments, Total Station & GPS.
  • Familiar with surveying & mapping software (Processing & Adjustment).
  • Capable of using CAD software (Surpac, Mapinfo).
  • Familiar with coordinate system transformation and map projection.
  • Good communication in English both oral and written.
  • Good Interpersonal & Managerial Skills.
  • Good personality, determined, adaptive, responsive, open minded, integrity and team work.
